EverWash Vehicle Checks: A Guide for Car Wash Owners
Updated 2026-10-27
A membership scan identifies the membership used; checking which vehicle arrived requires additional evidence. EverWash offers camera-based member validation; ask EverWash whether it is available at your wash. This guide explains a manual review workflow, and how Wash Attest provides a separate review tool for EverWash operators.
What you have to work with
- The scan: the time and the membership used.
- The registered vehicle: the plate and vehicle on the member's account.
- Your camera: a recording of the pay station at the time of the scan.
A manual review workflow
- List the day's member scans with their times.
- For each one, find the frames from your recorder at that time.
- Compare the vehicle with the member's registered vehicle.
- For a mismatch, check the member's other visits: a one-off, a new car, or a pattern?
- Check for a vehicle update or approved exception. EverWash lets members update their vehicle in the app; follow EverWash's process for changes.
- If misuse is confirmed, use EverWash's process for warnings and cancellations, and keep the images and your notes.
It works, but it takes time, so it usually happens only when someone already suspects a member.
Does confirming misuse in Wash Attest cancel the EverWash membership?
No. Your staff record their decision in Wash Attest, then separately follow EverWash's process to warn or cancel. Wash Attest only reads from your EverWash account: it never changes anything there and never contacts your members.
How Wash Attest works with EverWash
Wash Attest connects to your EverWash account with your operator login, entered on your own Connections page. It checks for new membership scans periodically, retrieves the corresponding camera frames, identifies the vehicle and reads the plate when it can, and compares them with the member's registered vehicle and the vehicle that member is usually seen in.
- Scans where the plate and vehicle match clear on their own.
- Scans that need attention, including mismatches, look-alikes, uncertain results and accounts linked to cancelled members, go to a review list with the images.
- Your staff decide every case and record the warning or cancellation they sent.
